Abstract. A technique for simulating a continuous flotation circuit from batch test data is described and demonstrated. Because the simulation is based on a kinetic analysis of the batch data, a method for accurately collecting rate data from a batch test is also described; and based on the kinetic results, it is shown that an optimum time can be specified for a flotation stage.
